I have a C library which is split up into a bunch of .a files that I want to use from Java. To be able to load C libs from Java they have to be dynamic libraries.
This seemed like a pretty easy problem to solve. Just run some command line tool to re-package all the libs as a .dylib file.
I tried using libtool but it spewed lots of error messages about x86_64 symbols missing. I find that strange since the .a files only contain 64 bit intel code, they are not universal.
I don't have the errors in front of me right now so I can't recall exactly what it said or what sort of arguments I tried. But if anyone has any idea of how to do this I would really appreciate it.

- Feb 09, 2014 Question: Q: How to convert Mac.app applications to IOS.ipa applications There is a game on the computer that i would like to convert and make to an IOS application. I know some things will need to be added like arrows and stuff so the creature in the game can move. But im wondering if i can convert a.app to a runable.ipa for iphone.
- Aug 11, 2008 iPhone has different CPU than the Mac so I have to use a different compiler to compile the codes. I am not sure but I think xcode uses arm-apple-darwin9-gcc instead of a normal gcc for Mac to compile code so the resulting executable could be run on iPhone. So anyone could tell me if I want to compile a C program by going through.
How To Replace Dylib
Download The File Converter for macOS 10.10 or later and enjoy it on your Mac. Convert your files to nearly any major format! This incredibly powerful app can convert your documents, videos, audio, ebooks, images, spreadsheets, presentations, vectors, and more! Future versions might cease doing that. Since my app doesn't include that code I cannot tell you how many bytes the universal and 64-bit only versions are. I do not know where revpdfprinter.dylib is stored within the app. Perhaps it is at Go to Show Package Contents / Contents / MacOS / revpdfprinter.dylib. The new Reality Converter app makes it easy to convert, view, and customize USDZ 3D objects on Mac. Simply drag-and-drop common 3D file formats, such as.obj.gltf and.usd, to view the converted.
